Biggest. News. Ever

Are you lovelies sitting down?
Big big news here.
The "I have been waiting for this to happen and have been sharing this dream with you all since the beginning of this ol' blog" kind of big.

Holy cow...

We're moving to New England.

(5 minute break to recover from crying my face off)

And that's not even the half of it.

We're moving to Portsmouth, NH, the place I've been crazy pants dreaming about living in for years.

(snapped this pic right after we found an apartment downtown!)

And now you really need to make sure you're sitting because I'm bursting at the seams to tell you my tippy top most exciting news!

I'll be working at Gus & Ruby Letterpress!

Pinch me.
Is this real life?
I'll be spending my days alongside the crazy talented ladies (and pups) of Gus & Ruby and can't wait to soak up all of their creative fairy dust. I'm pretty sure that's their secret. If you're ever in the area and need some pretty paper or the perfect invitations, you know where to go. Come visit!

I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly lucky I feel to have the chance to live in my dream town and work at my dream job. That's a lot of dreamin' all in one shabang.

I'll be twirling around for the next two weeks as we pack up, move up north, and get settled into our new home in Portsmouth.

(5 minute break to recover from crying my face off, again.)

So now you lovelies know why I've been in and out of this little space recently. I promise I haven't forgotten you! I wish I could send little love notes to each and every one of you for all your support and just all around loveliness.
You rock my face off.
I want to pinch your cheeks off, I love you so.

Branching Out

Hi lovelies!

I've been thinking of making some changes to my interior decorating lately and need your help!
Would you bring the outside in and incorporate a branch or two into your home decor?
(Image Via)

I'm kind of in love.

(Image Via)

Do we like the branches white or kept natural?
Or dare I say gilded? Oooooo.

(Image Via)

This could be a really cute idea for a wedding ceremony backdrop or a reception photo booth backdrop, no?

(Image Via)

I'm not hip enough to actually do this to my closet but I'd support you all if you chose to hang a limb or two in your house.

(Image Via)

I love this idea for a nursery and how it displays all your Sunday best on a pretty branch for all to see.

So how 'bout it?
Do I have you convinced?
I'm going to make sure I'm wearing my branch goggles the next time I'm out walking in the woods.
I'll bring you back the perfect branch just in case you've jumped on board.

Happy Bunny Time!

Enjoy the weekend you beautiful people.

*Stirring Around*

This clutch really tugs at my purse heart strings.

Succulent puns make my funny bone explode.

Seriously, Sarah, this wedding has you written all over it! See it on Style Me Pretty, too!

These posts are my favorite of Rebecca's.

It's that time of year again when you make extra trips to the driving range, dress a little preppier, and secretly watch coverage on your computer at work:
It's Masters time.

I have to admit, I haven't been able to golf in almost two years due to my silly back issues, but it has been on my list of things to get back into this summer. Did you hear that, Dave? That's right. I'm officially coming back to the game of golf. Plus, I have that crazy twitch that golfers get once the weather warms up and the greens open to the public. It's time to get my swing back.

Until then, I'll be settling in all weekend next to my TV to watch the pros duke it out in Augusta for that silly green jacket.

This is what my weekend will look like and hope yours is just as pretty!

Babies {Part II}

More babies!
Can you blame me?
I came across this adorable shoot of little Sophia playing around in the Plaza and had to share!

(Image Via)

It's like a little dreamland for little ones and I love the idea of capturing it all as a keepsake. Head over to Inspired by This to see so much more cuteness.

Ha, not me!
But, I have three friends who are all pregnant and due in June so baby showers and adorable little footie pajamas have been on my mind lately. I've been seeing a lot of pretty crown inspiration floating around and thought using these little crowns in a baby shower would be just the cutest thing ever.

What do you think?

(Image Via)

I think they're just darling. You wouldn't have to run with the "Royalty" theme but instead just play with the homemade whimsical theme - crowns, paper garlands, paper straws with drink flags, and effortless flower arrangements.

I'd dig it.

Plus, all of these elements are super duper easy to make and incredibly budget friendly!

Don't you find baby things incredibly addictive? I'm not on the baby train just yet so it's really fun to have all my girlfriends at that stage so I can live vicariously through them and all their adorable booties, hoodie bath towels and soft bunny plush toys.
