I have been waiting on pins and needles for today.
You lovelies are in for a gigantic treat, but first, let me introduce to you the lovely graphic artist/book binder, Ruth Bleakley, from Concertina Press. I have been a big fan of Ruth's work for some time now and absolutely love her whimsical and unbelievably gorgeous stationary and invitations. And did I mention she's a New England gal? Yeah, it's pretty much a match made in heaven.
From the lovely Ruth:
My name is Ruth Bleakley, and I'm a book binder and graphic artist who lives in a small coastal town in Massachusetts. I have a BFA in Studio Art and spent several years designing stationery and invitations at a local stationery shop, where I became well acquainted with the custom design process from initial concept and client meetings to final print production.
I specialize in light, airy designs with a decidedly nautical bent. I'm not limited to ocean-themed though and I'm happy to work with you to create fully custom paperie including, but not limited to business and calling cards, wedding invitations, graduation and birth announcements and personal correspondence.
